How to get Pregnant Faster – Top Ten Tips Tip

1. If you’ve already been trying to get pregnant for a while – Go and see your doctor. Tip 2. Try and remain as fit as possible Take daily exercise – 30 minutes a day should be the minimum. This should raise your heartbeat and cause you to feel hot – If the exercise is working you should find it hard to hold a conversation whilst exercising. Running, brisk walking, swimming and aerobics are all good choices.

Tip 3. Keep your weight in check If you’re overweight it can hinder your chances – using exercise and a sensible diet it’s wise to try and keep your weight down. Eat healthy meal choices and take a good multi vitamin pill – make sure you’re including a folic acid supplement.

Tip 4. To increase your chances have sex two or three times a week. Having regular sex is important if you’re trying to get pregnant. Although getting your timing right can be important – it’s still worth having sex at other times just in case. Sometimes your ovulation can take place when not expected and therefore your just bettering the odds.

Tip 5. Use a fertility monitor or some kind of ovulation prediction test As you probably know, getting pregnant requires the sperm to meet up with a suitable egg – this means the only time pregnancy can occur is when ovulation and intercourse coincide. By using an ovulation kit to help predict when ovulation is taking place, your chance of getting pregnant will be greatly increased. Relying on charts can be difficult. Lutenizing Hormone is always present in a woman’s urine. The body produces a surge of Lutenizing Hormone (LH) once a follicle has adequately matured. This surge of LH causes the follicle to burst, releasing the egg into the fallopian tube. The moment that this happens is ovulation. A fertility monitor will help pin point this timing.

Tip 6. Have sex before ovulation rather than after Its often hard to get the timing right – as pointed out in tip 4, having sex more often will help your chances of getting pregnant – This said, the egg will only last for around 24 hours after ovulation, therefore the window of opportunity is quite small. On the plus side, sperm can last upto3 days, sometimes longer. This means that if they’re in the right place when the egg comes cruising by, your chances are improved.

Tip 7. Don’t just rely on the Calendar method for calculating your ovulation. I refer to my earlier tips – have sex more often and use a scientific means of checking when ovulation is taking place.

Tip 8. Choose the right positions for having sex. The woman being on top is not as reliable as the old fashioned ‘missionary position’ in which the woman lies on her back with her knees raised. Placing pillows under the woman’s hips can help in keeping sperm in the vagina for longer. After sex try and relax in this position, no running off to the bathroom – a good half hour is advised.

Tip 9. Quit smoking and drugs – Alcohol isn’t going to help either. As mentioned earlier – keeping fit is important and smoking is the number one enemy – for the mother and the child if conceived. Drugs must be avoided and anything other than a very small, occasional alcoholic drink is only going to slow down the chance of getting pregnant.

Tip 10. Enjoy having sex!. Try and relax – make sex enjoyable and don’t get stressed out. If it all becomes too clinical and like a job, relationships will suffer and the pressure will make matters worse. So – enjoy yourself – some research has shown that an orgasm can help with getting the sperm towards the eggs and hence pregnancy.

Remember, it can take a few months before success, however, if after 10 to 12 months you have had no joy, you should seek medical advice.
